I won some awards. (Blush)

Apar from Random Ruminations awarded me this beautiful ‘thanks for writing’ one. It is a way of thanking those who leave comments on your site. Isn’t that nice?

It does feel pretty good when people leave you a line or two. Not only that, but most of these people end up becoming people we keep in touch with and form friendships with.

I comment at Apar’s site because I like her blog and I enjoy reading her posts. I rarely comment anywhere just for the heck of it. So, thank you very much for giving me this award and for your wonderful blog.

It was made by her friend Em. How cool is that? Now I want to make one!

She said it was made ‘to award to people, in blog land, that I think have been exceptional friends to myself or others.’

I guess I can’t give it back to Teeni then. But she has been an exceptional friend to me and I am honored that she regards me as a friend.

I’ll hand it out first to someone I know will not accept it but, too bad, he’s getting a mention anyway. Will from Various Philosophies of Cynicism aka known as The Will Rhodes Portmanteau on my blogroll. I’ll have to change it soon! Because when I first arrived at wordpress I was kind of lost on how to set things up and he helped me numerous times. Even when I couldn’t really explain my problem properly! And for all the times he could have smashed my comments and didn’t! So thanks Will.

I would include, Joan and Peter from my above award, but I see Teeni has already awarded them one.

Apar from Random Ruminations, I am really just getting to know her but I am sure we will be blog friends for a long time to come.

Sulz, from Bloggerdygook, even though we don’t often comment on each others blog, I do feel a kinship with her and I consider her a good blog friend.

Of course, Muse from MusEditions, who always seems to get any award I receive but I can’t help it. She is just one of those people who enter your life and you know it is for a good reason. She inspires me, she makes me think, she is a great person, and I kind of think of her as a mentor. I am very lucky to have come across her blog and that she has accepted me warts and all.! Thanks, Muse!
